Every incident, order and airline shake-up is covered by a dozen aviation and business outlets. Contrail reads them all and groups the articles about one event into a single story, so you see what happened and who is covering it on one page — then click through to the original reporting.

Airworthiness directives

The directives tracker lists every new FAA airworthiness directive and proposed directive from the Federal Register, by manufacturer, with the affected models. It is a convenience view — the Federal Register and FAA are the official sources.

Desks, airlines and aircraft

Stories are filed on a desk (safety, regulation, manufacturers, airports, airlines) and tagged with the airlines, manufacturers and aircraft types they mention, so each has its own running page.
